The Princess Party

We have been working for 3 weeks to ready ourselves for our granddaughters' birthday party!
There is not much left to be done. Here are a few pics of the work in progress:

The Cinderella scene is from my twin sister's and my wall as babies. I still remember my dad holding us (both) walking around our room to say good night to our little wall hangings.
Embroidered invitations and pictures of Aunt Jackie's good friends!

Bling for the Champaign glasses.
We had Pimm's cups and Prosseco!

The Stage was set for some very special guests!!

This was one of the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen!! Notice all the detail- the vines, leaves and flowers were amazing!!   www.frostedbetty.com

The dresses were made for Easter, Cinderella- the movie and the birthday party!!!

Friends and family begin to arrive!!

Then Aunt Jackie explained that she had some very good friends who gave her some special pixie dust and if everyone wished really hard and closed their eyes a REAL princess might arrive!!

AND THERE THEY WERE!!!!

And they danced an were taught manners and listened to stories!!!

Then it was time for magical pixie dust to be sprinkled on the birthday girls!!!

And my Prince arrived!!!!

Then the Princesses put makeup on everyone!

Group photos!!

And now for the wonderful individual shots!!

The Princesses even signed coloring pages for the kids!!

And then it was time to say goodbye.

AND OPEN PRESENTS!!!!

  1. The one of Skylar getting sprinkled with pixie dust made me cry. She had her little hand covering her decolletage just like Cinderella!
